GOLD MICRO ELEMENTEL Liquid Sulphur: For soil improvement in all kinds of vegetable and fruit growing areas, it is effective in lowering soil pH. It is formulated to act quickly. Its particles are finer than those of the micronised sulphur usually recommended for soil application, so it is taken up quickly from the soil. As a liquid concentrate, it is easy to use. It makes it easier to take up macro- and micronutrients that are unavailable because of high soil pH. It supports the natural resilience of plants. In high-pH soils, it helps release bound Fe, Zn, Mn and P, making them easier to take up. It increases the uptake of plant nutrients from the soil. It improves the soil. It loosens the soil structure and increases permeability. It contributes to a healthier soil environment. In soils sown with legumes, it supports the activity of Rhizobium (nodule) bacteria

and thereby helps increase yield. By preventing crusting of the soil surface, it makes seedling emergence easier. It promotes the multiplication of Thiobacillus sulphur bacteria (3 microns in diameter), whose numbers in the soil have fallen because of high pH.

Because its particles are smaller than Thiobacillus bacteria, it provides them with a good feeding environment. This in turn promotes sulphur conversion in the soil, making the plant nutrients already present in the soil, as well as later fertiliser applications, more available to the plant.
